Hi folks,
This is yours truly Nina, back again with a big smile  :-D Now let me present you my diary leaf torn from AFRC work book. Here it goes !! Please take a look...

Daily routine

Yesterday was terribly hectic for me, being the weekend. I had to do a lot of school assignments and slept late. So today I woke up at 9 am, luckily no one pulled my blanket. I did my prayers, sincerely wished all the very best to the world and stepped out of my bed. I didn`t want to spoil my morning so didn`t read the news paper ! Yes, I do love my garden, and walked among the plants and trees barefooted. I love the feel of wet grass tickling my soles. Its an invigorating feeling. On Sundays I don`t wash anything, but I love cooking and helped my mom and grandma to prepare breakfast. Today we have iddley, its shape is like a flying saucer, white and soft.

Work

In Alice (its the name of our village) we have a children`s library, adjacent to the citizen`s park. I work as a volunteer there and I am the library auditor. Collecting books is also my duty. I reached the village library at 11 am. We have received a collection of books from the engineering college in the city and I entered the books and checked whether they are kept in the proper places. Suneeta is our librarian. She is a plus two girl and is pleasant to every one. No one else was there at that time, so I held a discussion with Suneeta and we though about organisng a meeting of all the board members on Tuesday evening. My target for the month was to collect 70 books, and I could collect only 46, so I was a bit worried, but Suneeta assured me all her support and said she would help me with the book drive.

Food
As I mentioned morning I had iddley with mash, and for lunch I went with Suneeta to her home. Suneeta`s father works in the tea estate. Her house is very beautiful and right in front of her house is a meadow in which cows regularly visit to graze and gossip. I spend nearly three hours in her home and for tea we had large pieces of chocolate cakes cooked by Suneeta`s mom and with lots of fresh milk. My supper as usual was with grandma, nestling close to her as she fed me with her own hands, as warm as freshly baked country  bread.
