Lakkidi Wayanad: Global dignity Day was celebrated by Leadership Village and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Navodaya principal Ms.Shanthy inaugurated the program. The program was organised with the support of Global Dignity organisation and Geneva based World economic Forum. Global Dignity is celebrated worldwide with the vision og helping children and youth realising the value of self worth and leadership hidden deep within and march ahead in life with head held high.

Navodaya Vidyalaya students Arun and Anu, Leadership Village co-founders Laila Saein, Anil Emage, Roshan (panankandy GHSS, Pooja (NSS HS) shared their experiences with students. Leadership Village co-founder Sangeeth Varghese has been selected as Young Global Leader from ndia by World economic Forum in 2010.

A new song entitled "Dignity" was premiered t at the Global Dignity Day Forum in Helsinki, Finland. The world premiere of "Dignity" was experienced by over 1000 Forum attendees at Espoo Arena. The song was written and composed by evolutionary musician Dave Stewart and performed by up-and-coming lyrical hip-hop artist Nadirah X in support of Global Dignity Day. "Dignity" captures the great spectrum of ways in which people can express dignity and have a positive impact on the world. The song is also available for download free of charge.
